Window Shopping on Your Phone, Buying on Your Tablet

According to an IBM study, Americans use their phones to browse shopping sites, but when they are ready to purchase, they are more likely to buy with their tables.

On Thanksgiving and Black Friday, browsing shopping sites by phones was 24.8% compared to 12.8% for tablets. Actual online sales came out to 7.5% on phones while 13.5% on tablets.

When putting this in dollars, iPads generated $417M in sales these two days compared to $126M for iPhones, $106M for Android phones, and $42M for Android tablets.
