May was a busy month with several WebSphere Commerce User Groups taking place around the country and a first Virtual User Group as well! I had the pleasure of attending the face to face meetings in Columbus, Ohio and Austin, Texas, as well as the inaugural Virtual meeting. It was wonderful to talk to so many WCS customers and partners, as well as hear from IBM and HCL just days before the big transaction becomes a reality.
Good News from HCL
We heard a lot of positive news from HCL about aggressive plans for the future and also we learned that there are currently about 40 companies who are on V9 or in the migration process to V9! In fact, those already running on V9 are very happy, especially the DevOps team whose life is much easier now with Kubernetes managing the orchestration. “We just push a button when we need to scale! This is Commerce as it should be!”. Kudos to the Leaders of V9!
