Summer School just got better!! Join our “Fun In the Sun with Portal Workshop” at the waterfront Hotel Portofino in Redondo Beach! It’s a half-day hands-on workshop designed to show you how to build a portal for your company followed by summer fun activities at the beach. Bring your company’s logo to customize the look and feel, play with web content management and learn to administer portal security. But most of all, don’t forget to bring your suntan lotion as we have some serious kayaking to do!!

You will learn to:

• Create your company’s intranet using WebSphere Portal
• Rebrand your Portal by adding your logo and selecting a presentation style
• Creating highly personalized pages in a few minutes
• Easily expand the capability of Portal by installing new Portlets
• Create and publish web content using built-in Web Content Management
• Security setting such as adding users, and changing access control

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided as well as kayaks and beach cruisers for a fun afternoon.
